In 1957 N° 350 Squadron of the 1st Wing at Beauvechain had its own (unofficial) aerobatic team on Hawker Hunter F.4. As the official 'Acrobobs" (the name Red Devils came later) had suffered an accident (High-speed ejection of Pierre Tonet), the 350 Squadron team temporarily had to take over and performed marvelously at the International Airshow of Cannes (F) on August 25th, 1957. After this unique show the Acrobobs team again took over its role as the official aerobatic team of the Belgian Air Force.
