 Twin engine communications aircraft

    On January 16th 1947 the Belgian government ordered two Avro Anson XII (and 11 Avro Anson I) light transport aircraft through "Command paper 7039" (together with some other aircraft types). Although one of these transports was lost only months after being delivered the remaining aircraft gave good service up to 1954 when replaced by a.o. the Percival Pembroke.
