Shortly before the end of World War I a single Spad XVI was delivered to the Aviation Militaire Belge.
Most probably this unique aircraft was only used for test purposes.

Spad XVI because of the use of the 240 hp Lorraine-Dietrich 8Bb instead of the 220 hp Hispano Suiza as on the Spad XI.
