The R.S.V 22 "Titan" was the result of a collaborative effort between Sabca and the Stampe & Vertongen Company, in order to fulfil a request for proposals issued by the Ministry of Defence for an aircraft which could train pilots and observers in the most economic way. Only one "Titan" was build which was registered on OO-AJM on 18 March 1929. The name "Titan" refers to the Gnome et Rhone "Titan" engine of 230 hp which powered this nimble aircraft.
