De Havilland DH.85 Leopard Moth OO-APS

 

De Haviiland De Havilland DH.85 Leopard Moth OO-APS (c/n 7088) entered the Belgian civil register on 16 January 1935. Jules Prévost

of Kortrijk and Emily Henry of Antwerp were the successive owners. On May 19/20th 1940 two RAF pilots of N° 2 Squadron used the

aircraft to escape to Lympne in the U.K. via Berck in France. During Wold War II the machine was used by the Royal Navy as ES945.
